The spirit of our association lives through its members. We are depending on active members who are committed to our vision and goals. If you would like to contribute your experience, knowledge and skills, we look forward to your membership. The membership fee is only two Euros per month. Kindly fill this form and send it to us:

Besides taking membership of our NGO, you may also opt to become “A Light of Hope” with your choice of project sponsorship. The currently running two projects are in India – Omkareshwar and New Delhi; your sponsorship will allow a small section of the impoverished community of children to find significantly better education and living conditions. Thanks to you – for making a difference in someone life! The support for the local children will be impossible without your significant help.

We ensure the improvement of basic needs, such as hygiene, health care, education through social assistance. We attach importance to the educational opportunities of children and adolescents to give these children the hope of a self-determined life with professional prospects. Because only an educated generation will have the strength to build up the country in a better way.

We will be informing you about the progress of the projects at regular intervals. Starting at 10 euros per month (regular sponsorship), you will become “A Light of Hope”. Even small donations help a lot, each donation in whatever amount is valued by us and with much gratitude in the support of the projects introduced. Every one of you is a light of hope to the children.

You can also decide to partially support the specific costs of administrative expenses, for example: every year payment for website maintenance etc. Any support will enable the board members and team to effectively support the social projects in India, with minimal administration costs and a high level of volunteer involvement. Volunteer Locally

We are always looking for compassionate and humane people to work with us as a volunteer in India, Germany and Switzerland. If you possess any of the following skills to contribute as a volunteer, write to us.

– Volunteer as a Teacher or Social worker in India to help us with the Projects.

– Volunteer with skills and expertise in the fields of photography, design, videography, writing, IT and related skills etc.

 

Virtual Volunteering

If you are committed to helping underprivileged children but are unable to volunteer with us in person, we welcome your support to our virtual volunteering project! What you can do for us, from around the world is – helping with the management of our social projects, Homepage development, Translations of the webpage contents in different languages, and IT related issues etc. It doesn’t matter where you are located, your support is invaluable to us. Here are our current Volunteer Virtual Projects:

• Help Diya-Light of Hope e. V. to get partnerships with local brands and businesses, who can help us raise awareness as well as funds through collaboration activities.

• Build awareness about Diya-Light of Hope e. V.  on social media by following our pages and sharing our posts across platforms with your networks.

• Become a Diya advocate by writing about our endeavours in social media publications or blogs.

Be a Fundraiser

Raise funds for Diya – Light of Hope e.V.: For us to be able to create sustainable impact, monetary support is essential. You can help raise funds for Diya by asking your friends and colleagues to donate to our NGO on special occasions, and taking part in fundraising events, like marathons, or crowd funding through your personal and professional networks.

Before raising a fund for Diya– Light of Hope e.V., please write to the Board member and receive our permission. We will assist you in the process.
